Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Program Manager to be a key member of AWS Marketing Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon. This role will support the WW AWS Marketing organization to help drive growth of AWS business by providing analytical insights to business and finance leaders, driving core financial and business processes, and assisting the Marketing organization in opening and reconciling purchase orders.
Key job responsibilities
• Recommend improvements and provide scoping documents for systems enhancements
• Standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, and increase the reliability and efficiency of financial reporting and processes
• Partner with the AWS Marketing organization by owning Purchase Orders creation for marketing campaigns
• Develop and implement mechanisms to ensure controllership around our internal budget management tool across AWS Marketing organization;
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or Master’s in Business, Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or Technology.
• History of problem-solving skills, especially in blank slate/highly ambiguous situations.
• Strong persuasive writing skills and an ability to influence and align multiple sets of stakeholders.
• Strong interest and skills in analytics.
