The AWS Data Center Planning (DCP) Team is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to create, implement, and improve constrained AZ processes that will be used across all global infrastructure teams. You will establish and maintain constrained AZ mechanisms, coordinating with regional TiPM and Regional planning organizations to centrally execute supportability exercises. You will work across the AWS Organization managing inputs from global teams, performing quality control on the supportability data and mitigations, and communicating the outcomes of each cycle with key stakeholders and leadership.

Key job responsibilities
Establishing and maintaining DC Capacity Health Global mechanisms, driving communication channels to keep stakeholders engaged with the process. Inspect mitigations for additional lever options. Share mitigation lever data across regions to ensure we’re taking advantage of best practices across the globe.
Coordinating with global TiPM and Regional planning organizations to execute all the supportability exercises centrally. This will include managing inputs from global teams, performing quality control on the supportability data and mitigations, and communicating the outcomes of each cycle with key stakeholders and leadership.
Integrating with OneSolve Product Manager to ensure tools are updated as needed to support the constrained AZ mechanism.
Establishing mechanisms to standardize how we express constraints as we move through tiers of severity.
Perform ongoing retrospectives to incrementally improve planning processes and tools based on customer feedback and needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree AND 3+ years of project management experience OR 5+ years of project management experience (experience can be substituted for degree)
3+ years of experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
1.5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure delivery
3+ years Experience with MS Office, and MS Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in managing data center infrastructure deployments with good understanding of data center technologies.
Experience leading matrixed teams and individuals across multiple locations
Experience developing, improving and implementing processes and providing support for core technical solutions in a large-scale, complex environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to senior executives.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data (including SQL) and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom.
