Job Description:
As an EMEA Sales Operations Compensation analyst, you will support EMEA Sales managers as well as Sales Strategy & Ops leaders on the definition of the Sales Incentive Compensation models, as well as day-to-day execution of the business including managing the reporting cadence, utilizing various CRM & reporting tools to derive well-vetted analysis, and other ad-hoc requests and analysis as needed. You will be the central SME for operational requests raised by EMEA’s sales teams, owning resolution or collaborating with internal end-users and cross-functional international teams to solve problems and deliver successfully against high standards. You should be passionate about working with data and developing and owning process improvements to standardize, automate and optimize central processes in a scalable approach. You should assist Sales Managers in all aspects of evaluating their teams’ performance and ensure accurate and timely sales commission calculations and payments.

You will be collaborating with Sales Operations teams and Sales leadership to define, land and execute against our strategic priorities for Sales Incentive Compensation. Your analytic skills, strong business judgement and focus on our core operational inputs will make you a critical partner to Sales and Sales Strategy & Ops leaders as you help them execute, identify gaps and remove barriers to execution.

Key job responsibilities
Create insightful analysis, reports, and dashboards to improve compensation administration
Define and develop key sales compensation support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business
Develop and execute compensation mechanisms used to manage the EMEA business.
Develop relationships and processes with sales, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address compensation issues.
Be an expert in compensation analytics tools required to support Sales and Sales Operations.
Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of experience in Sales compensation, Sales Operations, Business Insights & Analytics, Finance or related quantitative functions in a large scale multi-geographical hi-tech Sales Organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics, or related fields
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, working with large datasets
  • Ability to multitask and conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages and presentations
  • Excellent organization skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to implement sales compensation processes, procedures and policies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 on sales compensation related jobs
  • Proven experience working with sales systems and tools (such as Varicent and Salesforce.com) and extensive knowledge and experience with data analysis tools (such as Quicksight, Salesforce, Tableau, and OneView)
  • Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience driving data-driven recommendations and suggestions to senior leaders
  • Track record of supporting a variety of stakeholders in different functions and geographies
