Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our Ad Tech suite of products including DSP (ADSP), Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), and Sizmek Ad Server (SAS) allow our customers to leverage Amazon’s unique media, audience, and e-commerce assets to drive meaningful results for their business.

The Professional Services Channel Development Manager will develop programs and processes that accelerate advertiser adoption of Amazon’s Ad Tech suite via partners and their solutions built on top of Amazon AdTech APIs, retail APIs, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and emerging AWS + Ads Martech applications. You will build the framework to identify, evaluate, and select partners on their ability to build custom solutions and provide technical services for advertisers. You will work with Amazon’s partner management teams to establish co-sell and resale solutions and identify target advertiser audiences for our sales team’s and partners to engage. You will establish success criteria and implement mechanisms to track and measure progress of partner Professional Services initiatives, and surface insights to how partner solutions impact revenue growth. You will scale pilot initiatives into global programs in partnership with Amazon’s Partner Network, marketing, legal, finance, and sales teams.

You are naturally curious and will apply this curiosity to identify our partners’ needs and help us continuously improve the channel program and the Amazon Partner Network’s features and benefits. You are knowledgeable of the ad-tech/mar-tech ecosystem, understand the players in media and programmatic landscape, and have experience managing partner relationships for Ad-tech/Mar-tech/Technology/Data companies. Our goal is to reward and recognize our partner’ successes and provide them with the right resources and tools that enable them to be world class sellers and service providers of Amazon’s Ad-technology.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with internal technical development and product teams to co-build innovative solutions with partners that leverage Amazon AdTech APIs, retail APIs, and emerging AWS Martech solutions to solve advertiser needs.
  • Identify use cases and applications of Amazon’s Ad Tech that solve advertisers’ unique needs. Develop programs that scale these use cases and applications via partners globally.
  • Engage partners, ensuring partner feedback and needs are communicated to internal stakeholder teams to influence the product roadmap and improve partner program framework, tools, and processes
  • Increase the total number of partners that leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), AWS + Ads solutions, and APIs
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in product to contribute to defining the Amazon’s Partner Network strategy, execution, and goals with respect to Ad-tech and professional services
  • Write and deliver business reviews an documents outlining strategy, requirements, and insights backed by data to evolve the program

About the team
This role is part of the Ad-tech Channel Development team, a global business development team tasked with developing the strategy, tools, and processes to scale Amazon Ad-tech via partners. We create programs that allow partners to sell and service Amazon AdTech at a bar raising level, working backwards from the customer needs to delight advertisers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of B2B partner sales, business development, or account management experience within AdTech, MarTech, or Data/Cloud Service

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of digital advertising experience, preferably in programmatic advertising
  • Channel development, program management, or similar experience with partners in the AdTech and/or MarTech space
  • Experience working with technical Professional Service partners and vendors, such as Global System Integrators, Consultancies, and/or Independent Software Vendors
  • Proven track record of driving transformational projects or programs, and delivering results against project/program goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
  • Planning, prioritization and time-management skills
  • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
