Job summary
Amazon Freight is looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical Senior Account Executive for the Strategic team within Enterprise Sales. Amazon Freight is a new startup business with Amazon focused on developing an industry leading transportation offering to provide external freight Customers access to the world class network and freight services currently used to operate Amazon’s own freight movements. Our Enterprise-ready freight offering ensures our Customer’s freight is moved with the highest level of service and quality at a competitive price across multiple modes of transportation (Truckload, LTL, Intermodal).

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be assigned an Enterprise Customer portfolio and be responsible for satisfaction, strategic business planning, and account growth. You will act as the account coach, accountable for working with key customer decision makers and cross-functional teams (Operations, Legal, Marketing) to deliver and grow a high-performing profitable service.

Key job responsibilities
• Optimize existing business and close new business with Enterprise Shippers.
• Drive adoption of emerging transportation services and products.
• Earn trust of customers by understanding business needs and capabilities to recommend product solutions.
• Translate Customer KPIs to influence standard of work.
• Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve objectives.
• Analyze purchasing processes and present solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance.
• Identify prioritization and trade-offs for meeting adoption and revenue targets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of B2B business development experience
  • 3+ years direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts
  • Experience working with executive level clients

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Transportation or Supply Chain industry experience
  • High cross-functional influence
  • Experience creating and driving individual and segment sales plans
