MENA Tech team supports the Amazon businesses in Middle East and North Africa (MENA). We operate in 3 countries UAE, KSA and EG. The scope of MENA tech organization is quite broad, as we are responsible for the service that we offer to the consumers, Sellers, Vendors, Carriers, and internal customers such as Operations and Customer Service.
In this role you will work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products, You will collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all the stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
As a Sr. Manager, TPM, you will drive multiple horizontal initiatives across MENA Tech and interface with Product team to define the roadmap.

Qualified candidates have experience defining projects and features, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating large cross functional projects and schedules, and delivering complex projects with accurate results at high scale.

Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature. Project management experience with cross functional geographically distributed teams.
12+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
5+ years of internet related technical program management in software
Experience with agile development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, XP, etc)
Experience with project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
Experience with object oriented development and design (preferably in both client and server development solutions)
Experience and proficiency with web technologies and tools
Track record of authoring forward looking technology roadmap/ yearly planning docs to enable trade-off and decision at leadership level
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
A passion for data-driven decision-making
15+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
7+ years of internet related technical program management in software
Master’s degree in a business or technology discipline or related field
Superior project management and organizational skills
Strong customer focus and ability to demonstrate pragmatic decision-making
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience delivering large-scale systems with world-class availability, scalability, and performance requirements
Experience in non-technical aspects including idea generation, business analysis, financial understanding, and process optimization
