A day in the life
You will be involved in design of end to end workflow from an app submission to publishing to catalog involving workflow, rule management, byte code analysis and injection and performance uplift of various services involved.

• Help drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class experience
• Utilize various metrics sources to deliver rapid iterations of software features

Basic qualifications

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Additional qualifications (optional)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent industry experience
• Strong fundamentals in core Computer Science areas like Object Oriented Design, Data Structures and Algorithms
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, or Perl
• Familiarity with Linux

About the team
Appstore Developer Experience team’s mission is to build systems and tools which help app developers around the world in publishing great quality apps to Amazon Appstore on various surfaces including Amazon and Non Amazon Devices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, Python or C#
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Spring, MVC frameworks, REST/RPC API design and development
• Experience with Relational and No SQL Databases
• Experience with Big-data Analytics
• Practical experience writing large scale web applications including architectural decisions, language choices, frameworks and implementation
