Amazon Web Services invented the cloud. Now we are reinventing sales. If you are looking for a unique opportunity to work on brand-new sales automation and productivity products, we are looking for an innovative, passionate, results-oriented User Experience (UX) designer to join the AWS Worldwide Revenue Operations team.
In this role you will partner closely with product management, engineering, and operations to deliver world class experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, detail oriented, have relentlessly high standards, and be a great team player.
Key job responsibilities
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, sales workflows, customer feedback, and usability findings.
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and detailed UI and visual design specifications
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Utilize and adhere to branding guidelines and design standardization across all of the team’s products.
- Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design.
- Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications.
- Perform metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts.
- Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
About the team
We are a new team in AWS building sales engagement and producitivity solutions that span the customer acquisition funnel. The products you’ll work on, directly impact on AWS revenue. You will be a member of a diverse team with a broad range of backgrounds from startups to large enterprise and recent college grads to leaders with 20+ years of experience. We’re builders who develop modern applications using native AWS services. And as much as we love to get together now and then, we’ve adjusted to the remote work thing, so are open to candidates from a variety of locations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, or similar UX-related role
- Proven track record in solving a variety of complex interactive consumer or commercial design problems, for desktop and mobile, for diverse populations of high-volume users, with demonstrable improvements to the user experience.
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
- Experience designing applications with multiple user touch points with specialty in web design.
- Portfolio of work demonstrating breadth and depth in UX and visual design. This should also include approach and process.
- Professional proficiency in high-fidelity mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, or equivalent.
- Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- UX design experience with CRM, Sales Productivity applications or equivalent
- In addition to expertise in web, working knowledge in design for mobile and other devices.
- Relevant UX experience in sales & marketing, financial services, or fin-tech highly desired.
