Prime Gaming is seeking an Art Director for the Creative Marketing group. This position will conceptualize and create inventive, brand-defining, go-to-market materials for internal and external marketing and brand campaigns, generating static, motion and video assets for website/apps (site takeovers, banners, splash pages, and trailers/promos), social media and other promotion material. The Art Director will be the custodian of all creative assets (banners, images, videos/trailers) that may be sourced directly from game developers, brand owners, or created in-house by the team or outsourced to agencies. The Art Director will manage a team of internal graphic designers, motion designers and production artists responsible for creating those assets with the Art Directors guidance.
Key job responsibilities
Work on large strategic campaigns from creative brief to concepts to asset delivery. Create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
Collaborate on creative briefs, create multiple conceptual directions, campaign assets, and retrospectives on project work in support of marketing and merchandising initiatives across video, digital, social media, print, merchandising, out-of-home and any other marketing channels
Distill complex creative concepts to understandable design solutions and clearly rationalize strategic thinking and design rationale to stakeholders.
Earn trust, and work with our PR, Paid, CRM, Product, and leadership partners
Work with project owners to plan, execute and ensure deadlines are met
Help source and engage external agencies to extend to capabilities of the team in meaningful and impactful ways
Act to evolve the Prime Gaming brand and ensure brand consistency and advocate for the brands of our developer partners
Create style guides and design pattern libraries in support of our brand, cross-platform experiences and merchandising
Present work to team and key stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 8+ years in creative management
Hiring and team building with strong culture
Good communication of plans and ideas, in written and verbal format
Experience in designing for consumer gaming or entertainment brands
Familiarity with Gaming and Gaming culture
An available online portfolio
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results in fast-paced environments
Proficiency in all major design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Familiarity with project management tools and processes (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
* Employs sound critical thinking and problem-solving approaches, comes to the table with solutions
