Key job responsibilities
You will be part of all stages of the software development life-cycle: definition, planning activities, design, implementation and delivery. You will be expected to lead the design and development of core features, drive team discussions on system architecture and component design, and influence the technical strategy for the product as a whole.

About the team
The Living Room organisation currently deploys its platform to more than 2k+ devices, ranging from Samsung and LG TV’s to PS4, Android and Roku TV devices. Any platform is only as good as the developer tools it provides, and this is also true for the Living Room platform org that is a key driver for us.
Our mission is to build the best development tools for developers that build applications that target the Living room devices. In our space, the challenges are tough, and there are no ready blueprints. To deliver against the mission, our solutions must be creative, scalable and state-of-the-art, and our team – in a perpetual state of invention. As part of the team, you will work beyond boundaries, get exposed, learn and leverage the full Prime Video technical stack and Living Room platform offerings and our main goal is to improve the SDLC for developers creating applications on the living room platform by providing cutting edge emulation tools, profiling tools, debugging tools and much more.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Non-internship professional software development testing experience
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience building test automation frameworks and tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with embedded computing platforms such as games consoles, mobile phones, set-top boxes and Smart TV’s
- Experience with building performance-sensitive software, performance benchmarking, applied performance analysis and optimisation techniques
- Experience with cloud technology
- Experience using Python, NodeJS, Java, C++, C# or Objective-C
