A day in the life
You will own the design of major features from end-to-end in our mobile app to supporting and dependent services. Can you work with engineers from many backgrounds to translate designs into quality software that is highly scalable, available, low latency, and high performing… and reflects the best combination of the ideas in the room? If you can, your design will go into production… so get ready to interact directly with the people who use your software, hear their feedback and use it to make your system even better!

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science related fields OR 1+ years equivalent experience in software development
  • 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience in native iOS or Android platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 4+ years of equivalent professional or military experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience building scalable front-end infrastructure software or distributed systems.
  • Exposure to Front-end libraries/frameworks – primarily ReactNative.
  • Good understanding of web or mobile software languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or NodeJS
  • Demonstrated contributions in a team engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.

This role is open to candidates in any Amazon Corporate Office Location

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $122.3k – $160k/yr however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
