Job summary
Amazon seeks Senior Financial Analyst in Seattle, Sunnyvale, Arlington, Santa Monica or NYC to play a key role on the Amazon Devices Accessories Finance Team, leading finance for Smart Accessories, FTV Accessories, and Echo Accessories.
Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of market-leading, innovative, and fast-growing digital and mobile businesses including Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV and Echo/Alexa Family of Devices. The Accessories finance team supports the development of accessories for all of these devices, and the sales and marketing for these accessories.
This is a finance business partnership role, owning both product development finance and sales and marketing finance for echo and smart accessories. This role requires interfacing with and influencing senior leaders across multiple teams. The deliverables are complex, time sensitive and often ambiguous, which requires strong business acumen, strong analytical and financial modelling skills, and excellent communication across the multiple and diverse stakeholders which includes product development, sales and marketing, GTM, operations, supply-chain, in-stock, demand planning, reverse and forward logistics, device finance, BI teams, FinTech, and international GM teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management
- Exemplary financial modeling and analysis skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- MBA preferred
