Position Overview

As a linguistic quality management intern, you will be supporting the Linguistic Quality Manager

with translation quality, terminology management, discussion with country-specific

localization requirements etc. You will gain experience working in a high-paced agile

environment within a high-performing team. You will also collaborate with different language

services providers and work on various exciting projects. There will be multiple opportunities to

share your ideas & contribute to projects & new development plans within the Linguistic Quality

Management domain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination between all relevant parties within the localization team & the vendor teams

• Ensure all work assigned to the various vendor contacts progresses according to stipulated workflow & timelines

• Monitor linguistic quality and highlight any risks, challenges, and additional support if applicable

• Administrative: Organize, update & create documentation for user reference

• Identify and pursue quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with other internal teams

• Maintain glossaries, style guides, and other reference materials

Minimum Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Information Engineering & Media / Translation / Interpretation / Translation Management

• Background in Translation, Language, Linguistics

• Language skills: English (verbal and written) at a minimum of an intermediate level is a must

• Native speaker of one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Polish, Russian

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Information Engineering & Media / Translation / Interpretation / Translation Management

• Background in Translation, Language, Linguistics

• Language skills: English (verbal and written) at a minimum of an intermediate level is a must

• Native speaker of one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Polish, Russian

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of CAT Tools & Translation Memories would be an advantage (not mandatory)
