Position Overview
The Global Brand Experience (GBE) team delivers world-class experiences that strengthen engagement and relationships with Autodesk. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to propel the team’s impact to the next level. In this role, you’ll report to the Director of GBE and be a part of the leadership team – helping with strategic planning and overall team operations. You’ll manage meeting agendas and facilitate team discussions using techniques that ensure great ideas are surfaced and everyone is included. In addition, you’ll take the lead on strategic projects working with teams across the company to help Autodesk live up to its brand promise through experience.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate as part of the Global Brand Experience Leadership team
  • Lead annual post-mortem, strategic planning process and tracking
  • Manage team operations including budget, leadership meeting agendas, team all-hands and internal communications via email, Slack, and Sharepoint
  • Assist, manage and/or lead complex projects that are often interdependent to successful execution
  • Partner with leadership to identify, prioritize, define and develop a plan to implement new impactful programs
  • Assist with change management related to team structure, stakeholder management and team processes
  • Support and delivery of cross-functional, strategic, high-profile projects and initiatives with a structured project management process
  • Develop and deliver communications in support of department or project needs
  • Promote a healthy team culture of collaboration, inclusivity, sharing of ideas and connection with each other
  • Facilitate annual goal development, leadership workshops and team offsites
  • Implement and improve procedures and processes to optimize program effectiveness
  • Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of overall business experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project or program administration & management
  • Proven, successful project manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others and drive decisions to closure
  • Highly experienced in meeting facilitation and assimilating team dynamics to drive effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizer who takes the initiative and can work independently to achieve goals established in a team environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to present to all position levels, from individual contributors to executives
  • Experience or potential to handle all tactical aspects of meetings and events including scheduling, agenda planning, facilitation techniques, identifying supporting props/materials, and managing associated technology and A/V requirements
  • Self-directed, relationship-oriented program lead, willing to take initiative, propose ideas and solution, make decisions and resolve issues
  • Detail-oriented, results-oriented and pragmatic but innovative and creative
  • A team player who works well individually and with others, willing and able to handle critique
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and you thrive in a dynamic, changing environment
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in business or marketing; MA/MBA preferred

  • You know how to push without being pushy and you thrive in challenging environments with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.You thrive as part of a team and know how to pull everyone into the conversation, so all voices are heard
