As an Industry Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in growing Spacemaker’s business in North America! You will be a part of the Industry Strategy team that is responsible for shaping the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, developing pricing and commercial models, and identifying opportunities for synergy within the broader Autodesk ecosystem. You will have in-depth knowledge about the operating model and work with internal stakeholders as well as customers to develop growth strategies and execute on them. You will be equally comfortable working on top level strategy formulation as well as project management, and even learning and demoing the software. You will be joining a highly collaborative yet autonomous environment. Our working environment is very fast-paced, and we always think about solving problems together as a team. Preferred location is at Spacemaker’s office in Boston or San Francisco.


  • Lead overall development of Spacemaker’s GTM strategy in North America
  • Build strong relationships across Sales, Marketing and Product organization in Autodesk/Spacemaker to execute on GTM strategy
  • Develop and manage relationships with strategic/pilot customers (early adopters/innovators) to start soliciting customer feedback and prepare new commercial opportunities
  • Support enablement of sales channels (i.e., World Wide Field Organization and Channel partners), incl. strategies and initiatives for acceleration
  • Support marketing efforts, represent Spacemaker at events, and evangelize the Spacemaker product
  • Identify building industry, market, and emerging trends and how they may affect Spacemaker
  • Serve as the primary Spacemaker industry contact in North America both internally and externally
  • Take an independent role to identifying and developing new growth opportunities for Spacemaker across North America
  • Drive end to end execution of strategic projects priorities

Minimum qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of working experience as a design professional in the building design market
  • Distinctive analytical and problem-solving skills – you are structured in solving problems and ground all decisions on solid data
  • Distinctive commercial mindset, financial grounding, and business acumen
  • Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate and drive complex workstreams and programs
  • Highly independent and strong sense of self-direction/drive
  • Strong interpersonal skills/charisma and experience in connecting with and aligning stakeholders across an organization (including C-level)
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives and presentations in support of our business strategies

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA and/or business graduate degree
  • Experience from management consulting, business operations, strategic planning, or corporate development
  • Experience from sales, B2B enterprise software and/or property development
