Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead our Customer Success Insights strategy. This role will focus on building business intelligence strategy to enable reactive and pre-emptive insights critical to driving retention and growth. Partnering closely with various cross-organizational teams, this leader will be instrumental in enabling Data-Driven Customer Success by architecting advanced customer behavior analytics, predictive insights & data democratization

You will guide a team of product managers, project managers, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists from variety of teams across Autodesk to deliver actionable insights to Sales, Partners & Customer Success Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing the vision of Data-Driven Customer Success across various components – Analytics, Predictability, KPI’s, Insights, etc
  • Build and develop knowledge about the attributes, personas, behaviors, and motivations of Autodesk’s current and potential customers
  • Work with cross functional teams in leading analytics and influencing direction of various RTB and strategic initiatives
  • Influence roadmap of data engineering, analytics, data science and reporting teams
  • Build a high-velocity data-driven operating model across customer lifecycle for subscription and consumption business models
  • Lead cohort analysis to establish correlation and causation across various customer behaviors to retention and growth
  • Act as a strategic partner to Customer Success, Marketing, Sales and Resellers in providing insight-driven recommendations focused on Retention & Growth
  • Work with stakeholders throughout Autodesk to identify opportunities for leveraging usage, customer & partner data to drive business outcomes
  • Enable required capabilities to deliver insights at scale to internal and external teams (vendors & resellers)

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience bringing a data-driven approach to strategic business decision making
  • Expertise in applied design of experiments in both large and small sample environments. For example, experience in A/B tests as well as in user experience research
  • Proven track record presenting to senior executives-delivering relevant insights through data analytics/research and then communicating sophisticated data, analyses, statistics, and research findings in a simple, clear, and relevant way
  • Natural intellectual curiosity, initiative, and love for learning new skills and capabilities
  • Collaborative. You can drive decisions and build coalitions across different teams independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
