Position Overview

Performed roles such as ServiceNow Technical Lead, ServiceNow Developer or Senior Consultant in Information Technology. A deep understanding of technical and business processes; ability to lead complex projects, ability to analyze and provide recommendations around application architecture and business capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction, higher efficiency and overall success. Proven record of Technical Lead, excellent customer service, managing global team, result driven approach, strong interpersonal skills and a team player with a “Can Do & Go Getter” attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead staff of technical personnel responsible for application development and operational activities, code migrations, replications, patching and upgrades
  • Conduct periodic Governance meetings with Global teams and stakeholders management
  • Involve in Road map planning, direct teams with corporate OKR’s and use SMART goals to deliver results
  • Proven experience in successfully managing people / vendors to achieve performance goals
  • Demonstrate understanding of application modules including Incident, MIM, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, CMDB, Knowledge, HR, Legal, Risk and Self-service Portal
  • Consulted on ServiceNow roll out, Performed ServiceNow upgrades and Implemented number of integration solutions
  • Effectively collaborate with other ServiceNow developers and be the escalation point of contact for Service now platform
  • Conduct Design / Code reviews and advice on best practice methodologies
  • Proactively identify system deficiencies in the ServiceNow platform and recommend solutions as a trusted advisor
  • Experienced in requirement gathering, eliciting,documentingand drive technical implementation for various business units
  • Worked closely with BA & QA to ensure requirements are well understood to deliver high quality and minimize application defects
  • Knowledge of 3rd party applications including performance monitoring tools and integration with service now
  • Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
  • Real world exposure to cloud technologies and SAAS. General understanding of various IT security concepts
  • Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operational efficiency within the organization
  • Facilitate group discussion to resolve conflicts, negotiate resolution, and achieve alignment between software development and business objectives
  • Strong interpersonal, excellent written, verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills for virtual presentations
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and willingness to work in flexible hours
  • ServiceNow ITSM, administration, integration & reporting
  • Implement and customize application modules within ServiceNow to meet business requirements
  • Create custom reports and dashboards with supporting metrics and KPIs that adhere to best practices
  • Creation of script based Assignment & Approval rule. Creation of Business Rule, UI Action by using Glide script
  • Creation of Glide Record object and use of several other important objects. Creation of custom related list
  • Creation of Access Control List with the help of Scripting. Creation of Script based UI Policy and Client Script
  • Glide Ajax, Glide Form (g_form), Glide User (g_user), Glide Record, Glide System, Glide Element, Glide Aggregate
  • Querying the table by using Glide Record. Referencing Glide List. Debugging script, Creating and customizing UI and pages
  • Render forms, lists, UI Pages and many other things in Service-now.com with the help of Jelly
  • Designing of Macros and Formatters, User Administration, Web Service Integration, User Interface Level Integration and MID Server Integration
  • Use of Import Sets for data loading from external file or database to the service-now.com

Minimum Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree in related discipline
  • Overall experience of 8 + years in Application Management & Operational Support
  • 5 + years of relevant experience in Service now development / Implementation
  • Service Now Administrator Certification
  • Service Now Implementation Specialist Certification
  • Preferred with ITIL & Scrum Master Certified
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP/S, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration
  • Experience with scripting languages and service portal (JavaScript, Jelly and Angular JS)
  • Experience in integrating different tool with ServiceNow using SOAP, REST, JDBC etc.
  • Hands on experience with JIRA, WIKI and AHA
