Please note this role can be located in the West Coast. We are looking for candidates interested in a hybrid work model.

We are currently seeking an Organizational Psychologist lead to join our People Insights team to build and evolve a world-class people analytics function at Autodesk.This is a critical position within our People & Places (PPL) organization responsible to help drive our mission to empowering employees to achieve the new possible through actionable insights from data. This role reports to the Senior Director of People Insights. We are looking for an experience Organizational Psychologist to lead two significant initiatives in our growing People Insight function, the Employee Listening Strategy and the People Research workstream. Employee Listening Strategy

  • Project manage and consult on the design, deployment, and analysis of company-wide surveys, leverage survey tools to build and administer surveys internally
  • Survey Design – Research best practices, gather stakeholder input, propose survey items/questions, and draft necessary communications
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare survey results and key insights via written reports and/or slide decks, present the findings live when necessary, and answer questions from stakeholders
  • Training and Documentation: Create documentation of processes and policies, design training materials, onboard new stakeholders to our survey tools and programs, and manage team files/folders
  • Support with the backend mapping, coding, and creation of surveys on Autodesk’s internal and external survey tools (e.g. Glint, Workday)
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers on the People Insight team to commission deep analyses on employee engagement survey results, combining with other data sources
  • Manage a workload that will often entail multiple projects/surveys on competing priorities with tight deadlines
  • Reviewing data on a continual basis to ensure quality and preparing survey data for analysis
  • Communicating and supporting clients with ad-hoc requests throughout the survey projects
  • Lead qualitative testing sessions to capture feedback around survey items
  • Assist with qualitative coding for survey testing sessions and open-ended comment data

People Research

  • Partner across the People & Decision Science team to translate business problems into research questions, craft appropriate research, experiments, or analytical approaches to provide actionable insights across the enterprise
  • Partner with data scientists on the People Insight Team to operationalize advanced analytics supporting scoped research initiatives
  • Conducting in-depth research and applying advanced analytics to understand and influence employee experience and behaviors, find opportunities for intervention, and partners with product and engineering to build scalable solutions that enable data-driven business decisions
  • Apply your quantitative skills, data techniques and research methodologies to enrich understanding and improve prediction of employee motivation and behaviors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven ability to partner with data scientists on HR or People Insight teams
  • Experience using survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, Qualtrics, Glint, Medallia, etc.)
  • Proficiency in survey methods, such as item development (e.g., double barrel, reversed scored), sample selection techniques (e.g., random vs. stratified), scaling options and anchors, and tracking participation rates
  • Proficiency in creating summary reports based on quantitative and qualitative data
  • Strong communication skills and ability to speak to technical and less technical audiences of varying organizational levels
  • Expertise in experiment design, nudging, natural language processing (NLP), or Organizational network analytics (ONA) strongly preferred
  • Able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Manage a workload that will often entail multiple projects/surveys on competing priorities with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree focused on Organizational Psychology
  • 4+ years work experience in the HR space preferably with corporate survey experience and/or a MS degree in a related field (e.g., Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management, etc.)
