Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the Corporate FP&A team. Along with working on various projects within the team, this person will also participate in the monthly forecast consolidation process. This individual would support the Finance Business Partners (FBP) of the company with budget and forecast management, analyses and preparation. The right person for this role will demonstrate a strong aptitude for fiscal management, detailed data compilation, review, and analysis, independence, good business judgment, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. You must have excellent analytical and communication skills and the acumen to proactively partner with varying levels of management across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for end user requests regarding the Anaplan spend forecast models:
    • Triage, administer, prioritize, and ensure actionable Anaplan requests are written from FBPs in JIRA ticketing system
    • Track JIRA tickets, ensure proper movement to BIA JIRA board, communicate between FBPs and BIA for detailed requests, and give status updates to FBPs
    • Help assign priorities to Anaplan enhancements, contribute to roadmap discussion, and communicate updates to key stakeholders
  • Own the end-to-end Corp FP&A ecosystem of Anaplan end-user training materials:
    • Work with Corporate FP&A Manager to create new employee training materials
    • Write, organize existing materials, and maintain SharePoint site for all Anaplan documentation
    • Create bite-sized user training videos for existing FBPs to understand how to work with Anaplan
  • Align with division leads to help create Anaplan super user program to assist with new user requests, common issues, etc. Create a forum to share best practices and ensure accountability
  • Assist with the Non-Departmental & Fringe forecast process by working with HR compensation and benefit teams during the budgeting and forecast process to maintain rates for annual incentive plan (AIP), merit, vacation, and fringe
  • Prepare quarter-end accrual entries for contingent workforce, procurement accruals, and other FBP accrual entries; drive automation processes where possible to ensure scalability
  • Work with HR compensation team and corporate accounting to calculate and align on AIP attainment rates
  • Communicate annual merit budgets to leadership teams and FBPs. Facilitate budget transfers related to merit/bonus
  • Consolidate and update key deliverable dates for FP&A Finance at quarter-end

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial analysis role
  • Strong Excel skills and an aptitude to learn other reporting tools and software
  • Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) to various audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong team player and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Enjoys problem-solving and working through ambiguous scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SAP, Anaplan, Business Objects and PowerBi
  • Previous participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance/accounting systems
