Position Overview

Join our dynamic, best-in-class industry marketing team that helps innovators in the AEC industry discover and adopt the right technology solutions to design and build a better world for us all. Reporting into the Director of AEC Audiences Marketing, this role is an exciting opportunity to use your strategic marketing and storytelling skills to lead Autodesk’s global marketing efforts for the BIM in Construction segment.You will be part of Autodesk’s transition to full funnel audiences marketing, which includes researching customer insights, developing buyer personas and value propositions, conducting competitive analysis, and conceptualizing and executing effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

The AEC industry is experiencing unprecedented disruption with new digital trends and technologies opening the door to better collaboration, profit margins and project outcomes in the construction industry while tackling challenges such as increased demand, resource constraints, climate change and investment gaps. In this highly collaborative role you will be responsible for growing the industry leadership of Autodesk’s AEC Design solutions in Construction, by:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to clearly position and message Autodesk’sportfolio of BIM and design solutions for virtual design and construction, construction detailing, and digital fabricationto customers, prospects and industry influencers
  • Delivering those messages through expertly-crafted content that supports awareness and demand generation campaigns
  • Leading the development of complex, integrated, and omnichannel marketing programs that are audience-centric and support the full customer buying journey to achieve business goals
  • Creating market awareness through thought leadership activities, including articles, speaking engagements, sponsorships, events and involvement with key third party organizations
  • Working closely with other industry marketing leads and uncovering opportunities to tell a bigger story, increase impact, find connection points and cross-pollinate audiences with horizontal or convergent content
  • Continuously monitoring the competitive landscape, researching and analyzing customer needs, behaviors, and community sentiment to stay ahead of industry trends and enable teams across the company to maximize their effectiveness
  • Acting as a steward for the construction industry segment and ensuring sales training aligns with industry marketing messages
  • Building relationships with industry influencers and media to positively shape their perspective on Autodesk’s efforts in the industry segment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Successfully leading inbound marketing initiatives across the buyer’s journey and for diverse audiences tracking budget and ROI and driving continuous optimization across all channels
  • Creating high-quality content including video, landing pages, e-books, scripts and keynotes, presentations, blog articles etc.
  • Conducting customer research and growing communities to inform messaging, value propositions, buyer personas and marketing opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience marketing B2B technology / SaaS products or leading marketing in the construction sector
  • Exceptional writing, communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to travel 10%

  • You are results-driven and have experience in industry marketing or similar marketing functions
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze market opportunities, develop marketing and sales strategies, plan marketing tactics, and drive the implementation of marketing efforts
  • You have a customer mindset and understand the importance of learning from customers’ voices and experiences
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where requirements shift to meet changing business needs
  • You are a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with an appreciation for, and understanding of, omnichannel marketing and a desire to try out new and creative ideas
  • Have an ability to juggle multiple projects, influence stakeholders and drive decisions to closure
  • A team player who is willing to engage in both strategic and tactical work as business needs dictate
  • Data driven marketer who uses market intelligence and analytics to measure and optimize marketing efforts and programs

Target Pay for this Position (Colorado): 120K
