Position Overview

We are searching for a passionate Back End / DevOps Senior Software Engineer to join our Trust Engineering team in Dublin, Ireland.

Our team is responsible for creating dashboards, microservices and APIsto deliver on the promise of trust for Autodesk customers.

Autodesk products are mission-critical to our customer’s businesses. As such, they expect our products to be secure, highly available and ready to use when and where they are and will recover quickly so that our users can quickly get back to their business.

As Senior Software Engineer in our team you will be focused on deriving insights that lead to actionable results to improve the trust posture of our products and systems. The team also is responsible for building our trust data platform, encompassing data elements for security, privacy, availability, recoverability, and more.

You will work within distributed team located in Ireland and the United States.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop high quality, secure, reusable code (Python, Go).
  • Support team efforts as DevOps engineer (Terraform, AWS services).
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, document, and debug code, as required.
  • Participate in software design reviews, peer code reviews, and provide feedback.
  • Define and develop team standard practices and methodologies.
  • Support internal customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in software development as DevOps or Back End engineer
  • Good development skills in Python or any other modern language
  • Experience with building, maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and modern deployment methodologies
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ex. Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Good development experience in Agile development environment
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Strong knowledge of building/integrating with RESTful and Graph APIs
  • Unit testing using Pytest (or other testing frameworks)
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on AWS
  • Experience working with Terraform
  • Experience working with GraphQL
