Position Overview

Manages team of Partner Managers who sell through or support indirect sales channels. Supports channel resellers to drive business.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the activities and manage the performance of Channel Partner Managers within a territory, setting expectations and providing guidance and direction as needed
  • Determine proper channel coverage and ensure channel compliance with contract terms
  • Act as a business consultant to help resellers and/or distributors set their strategy
  • Provide regular pipeline forecasts and business health checks to senior management
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Channel Office and Legal teams on reseller quotas, authorization requirements, programs and policies
  • Maintain relationships with resellers. Responsible for maintaining “health of channel”. Ensure channel compliance with contract terms
  • Align with industry teams, Channel Marketing and Sales Leadership to drive alignment
  • Drive alliance and partner mind-share, profitability and investment with partners’ Autodesk business
  • Act as a business consultant to help resellers and/or distributors set their business strategy. Collaborate with internal and external business partners to build, maintain and implement business plans to support the sales effort
  • Ensures common vision between Autodesk and partners
  • Develop recommendations to improve Channels’ sales strategies, coverage, and capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sales processes and sales management principals
  • Strong business acumen
  • Use insightful judgement, think strategically, innovative, communicative, collaborative
  • Excellent presentation, written and communication skills
  • Senior years of experience selling enterprise software and people management
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Home office with some travel (up to 30%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • You are highly motivated, self-directed and an excellent collaborator who can influence and motivate others to ensure excellent execution
  • You have the courage to drive change
  • 10+ years of Channel Sales experience (Partner/Channel Management)
  • Knowledge of Autodesk solutions and industries served
  • Experience in a customer-facing sales or services-oriented role
  • Knowledge of Channel management principals
