Erick Semerene and Albion Rye Associates are working closely with an outstanding healthcare and medical communications agency with great values in the search for a talented and ambitious Senior Account Manager to work on their Promotional Medical Education accounts on a remote/home-based basis.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will have primary responsibility for the management of one or multiple client accounts and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders whilst leading, managing, and proactively developing accounts and new business. Ensuring the overall client satisfaction, financial performance of the account/s, and operational efficiency.

A little more about the role:

  • Responsible for developing strategic programs and finalizing program activity and budget with the client with minimal direction
  • Direct account team activity to ensure the appropriate tactical program is developed and implemented according to quality standards and achieves objectives
  • Ensure staff ownership and responsibility for projects for all members of the team
  • Possible line management and mentoring of junior account team members
  • Maintain a strategic overview of the account, proactively advise the client on new issues/external environment and contribute to strategic planning meetings with the client
  • Instigate brainstorming sessions to develop the strategic and creative direction of the account/s
  • In-depth understanding of the financial status of accounts
  • Develop proposals for new business and attend pitches

What qualities you will need to join this team?

  • Strong experience working within healthcare/medical communications, medical education, or a healthcare communications agency for 4+ years and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player, but able to work with significant autonomy
  • You should have client-facing experience and be comfortable developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Confident with identifying organic growth and contributing scientific insight to proposals and pitches as well as creating budgets and project financial management
  • Possess excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations
