What your day may look like

As the Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for answering emails and live chats from both direct customers and Independent Financial Advisers, as well as supporting on calls during busy periods. Whether it is assisting customers with their accounts, adding, or withdrawing funds or providing guidance on our platform. Our advisers need to build an instant rapport and be comfortable having a range of meaningful interactions ensuring a positive outcome, whilst delivering a memorable customer experience through every touch point.

In order to build strong relationships every day, we need to adapt to our customers’ needs and communicate in a way that works for them. As a trusted adviser you’ll strive to improve standards for our customers, looking for ways to make their lives easier and taking the stress out of retirement.

How will you make an impact

  • Answer contacts from both direct (D2C) and IFA customers placing the customer at the heart of the interaction
  • Ensuring that the correct responses are given every time in a polite, courteous, and timely manner
  • Operate in line with the department service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Record customer interactions to ensure an accurate audit trail is available
  • Contribute to the team culture in a positive manner
  • Always strive to provide a solution for each customer
  • Understand, record, and highlight customer dis-satisfaction in line with regulatory requirements

What it takes to be successful in role

  • Experience answering emails and live chats as part of a fast-paced Customer Services Team
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to providing exceptional customer care
  • Must be self-motivator and self-starter
  • Focus on quality and customer service

What makes you stand out

  • Experience of working within the financial industry or similarly regulated environment would be advantageous but not essential

Where will you be working

Our newly refurbished office, right in the heart of Dundee is a hub of creative collaboration. A place where everyone can bring their true selves to work and reach their full potential. Our Dundee HQ will support the community in more ways than one – by creating a wealth of new career opportunities and sponsoring a fleet of 400 rentable e-bikes, which you may have noticed docked throughout the city. A short walk from Dundee Station on the south of Union Street, it will be a key location for the Embark Group business that will deepen our ties with the city and its communities.
