The Role

Responsible for performing a broad range of activities which generally include identifying environmental, safety and occupational health hazards; providing advice and guidance to management regarding loss prevention; development and delivery of EHS training materials; performing statistical analysis, and environmental and sustainability oversight.

In this role you will

• Implements processes and procedures for compliance with safety and health regulations in general industry and construction activities.
• Evaluates operations and projects to ensure and improve compliance with safety and health requirements to ensure hazards are identified and corrected.
• Conducts trend analysis using statistical analysis methods.
• Evaluates and schedules industrial hygiene activities as needed based on exposures.
• Coordinates, delivers, and tracks contractor safety training.
• Collects, evaluates, and scores contractor safety evaluations.
• Monitors and reports safety activities and compliance information to Safety and Health Management.
• Schedules, coordinates, and conducts health and safety inspections.
• Recommends program or procedure modifications in consultation with Safety and Health Management.
• Assists in determining corrective measures necessary for compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Conducts accident investigations.
• Provides information on safety related topics to employees.
• Create, implement and manager applicable site EHS work instructions and JSA’s
• Coordinates possible improvements for site compliance in sustainability to support Entegris’ 2022 and beyond goals for corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

• S. Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or closely related field.
• 1-3 years general experience in the EH&S field
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong skills with Microsoft Suite of soft wear.
• Environmental, Safety, Health, and Sustainability Program knowledge
• Basic mathematics, and spreadsheet abilities
• Statistical analysis
• Analytical techniques
• Data gathering and organization techniques

Physical Requirements:

• Able to walk, kneel, and climb ladders
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a routine basis
