The Background
We are recruiting for an Administrator to join the construction department of a leading London university on a contract basis. In this role you will work as part of a team supporting a wide range of administrative duties to support the day to day operations. Please note this is a role is predominantly on site as you will be working on site 4 days a week.
The Role
As a University Administrator you will greet visitors to the department and deal with enquiries in person, over the phone and by email. You will provide support for reception based duties such as managing post, making travel arrangements, maintaining contact lists and updating communications onto systems. You will help ensure the facilities remain in good order and help maintain the meeting rooms and ensure the booking system is up to date. You will also provide support for a range of admin duties not limited to but including Health and Safety and liaising with the IT department for any issues in the department.

To be a successful University Administrator you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role in a busy office environment
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and able to maintain confidential data
