    Bristol-Myers Squibb’s newest R&ED site located in Cambridge, MA is in the heart of a vibrant ecosystem of world-class science, innovation, and business opportunities. Our research in Cambridge focuses on novel targets and pathways for tumors in oncology that are resistant to current therapies, as well as innovative discovery and translational medicine platforms to address unmet medical need in immunology and neuroscience.

    We seek a scientifically-oriented IT business analyst to join our team in support of the Mechanisms of Cancer Resistance Thematic Research Center (MoCR). In this role, you will identify data management needs, plan digital solutions, drive them to completion and facilitate adoption by MoCR scientists. As a member of a matrixed Research & Early Development IT organization (R&ED IT), you will interact with internal and external delivery partners to ensure that MoCR’s IT environment is organized, integrated, well-supported and easy to use.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify opportunities for IT to enhance the productivity and insight of MoCR, and plan projects accordingly to achieve the desired outcomes.
    • Develop and document business requirements, user stories, test plans and outcomes in collaboration with MoCR scientists. Communicate and refine these in partnership with IT delivery teams.
    • Serve as “product owner” on Agile development teams, representing the needs of MoCR.
    • Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for MoCR IT investments.
    • Facilitate corporate IT changes that impact MoCR and serve as an advocate for MoCR with the broader IT organization.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • B.S. or M.S. in a relevant biological or technical domain.
    • 5+ years experience in an industrial life sciences research laboratory setting.
    • Established record of partnership between scientific and technological roles to create digital solutions.
    • Experience developing and documenting business requirements and acceptance criteria for IT projects.
    • Experience working in Agile development teams is desired.
