Position Overview

J&J Technology is transforming into a full-scale platform / product management organization – to deliver business value on a continuous basis using an agile DevOps framework. The following are the roles in our product organization:

  • Architect: Shape overall architecture strategy, including technology, business process, data, security, and solution architecture, while aligning architecture strategy with business needs
  • Experience Designer: Conduct initial user research, drive the squad vision based on business and user insights, design desirable and intuitive experiences, develop wireframes and visual designs, and iteratively validate solutions with users
  • Scrum Master: Enable multi-functional squads to develop customer solutions using the Agile ways of working that integrates the business and technical needs
  • Software Engineer: Design, develop, configure, maintain, and test computer software, translating business needs into working code
  • Agile Coach: Support the team on their understanding of Agile to deliver on their backlog by teaching and enforcing agile practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, helping to identify and remove impediments and shielding them from external distractions
  • Product Analyst: Supports Product Owner to translate business needs and requirements into stories for the squad backlog
  • Technical Product Owner: Own vision and prioritization of new features and/or enhancements to a product / platform (or scope of the product addressed by the squad) and help translate business needs into prioritized user stories; accountable for value delivery and value realization at the squad level
  • Lead Engineer: First among equals engineer who leads squad engineers to design, develop, configure, maintain, and test computer software, translating business needs into working code
  • Chapter Lead: Responsible for managing and developing team members under their management. The Chapter Lead acts as a leader and expert in their specialty
  • Release Train Engineer: Ensure the Agile Release Train (ART) stays on course by facilitating its events and processes and assisting the teams in delivering value and driving steadfast improvement. Typically, a servant leader who acts as Chief Scrum Master and coach for the ART

While in this role, you will accelerate business value through agile delivery and human-centered design approaches. You will have access to the best technology and approaches to deliver at scale across the enterprise. These roles require direct interaction with business partners to understand the capabilities and demand required by the various groups. You will provide leadership around relationship management, product / platform management, business process/analysis, quality, and compliance.

The person for this role should:

  • Have a passion for Life Science and improving patient’s experience and well-being using data and emerging Digital health technologies and solutions.
  • Be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment with business domain specialists, technical specialists and a broad range of skills and teams across the organization to concept, design, deliver and implement technical solutions.
  • Anticipate, identify, and articulate unmet needs, and then partner to craft demand and design capabilities for new technology solutions supporting those needs
  • Embrace and cultivate a culturally diverse work environment and team.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of job-related experience, and skills vital to satisfactorily perform one or more of the capabilities listed above is required.
  • Product management skills with experience related to requirement definitions, application design and development, and system support in digital web & mobile technologies, data and analytics are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding interpersonal skills are required.
  • PMP, Agile and/or similar certification is preferred.
  • Authorized to work permanently in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Proven leadership skills, business insight, and technical skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn in a dynamic environment
