HR Admin Assistant (Modern Apprentice)

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, where the successful candidate will mainly work from home. Ideally based within Fife or where you can travel to Glenrothes regularly for training and team who can travel to Glenrothes. We are a Living Wage employer.

This is an immediate start and ideally looking for someone to join the team before the end of October 2022.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As the HR Admin Assistant, you will support the team and our clients throughout the recruitment life cycle and provide general administration support. The role is extremely varied with a wide range of administrative tasks and the ability to work with our team on some of our vacancies. You will also be involved in some HR administration tasks, including adding updating our online Breathe HR Software tool.

Full training will be provided, along with the opportunity to complete a Scottish Vocational Qualification.

What can you expect?

These are some of the things you can expect to do if you’re successful:

  • Responsible for updating our recruitment tracker system, external job boards and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with vacancy information
  • Scheduling interviews, and/or assessment centres
  • Generation of recruitment correspondence including offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Being a point of contact for prospective candidates and new joiners relating to questions about the recruitment process or onboarding process
  • Ownership and maintenance of recruitment spreadsheets, templates and key recruitment documents
  • Manage the Recruitment inbox in a timely and professional manner
  • Answer inbound and make outbound calls to clients and candidates
  • Update Breathe HR online HR information system
  • Prepare letters for the team
  • Take minutes at meetings

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to interact professionally and credibly with candidates, internal and external clients and suppliers
  • Highly computer literate with Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
  • An ability to problem solve, willingness to get involved and show initiative
  • Be a team player
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident telephone manner, as you will be speaking to our clients and candidates daily

What is important, is that you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn as full training will be provided. Hours 37.5
