Job Description

This position is an individual contributor role based in our growing Bengaluru office.  The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and building solutions in Chatbot development using MS Bot framework.  A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering, a preference with development experience with Object Oriented Languages. Collaboration Technologies team members wear multiple hats and are expected to work across our entire technology stack.  While this role will focus Bot development the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning new technologies and will draw on a strong technical foundation to be able to deliver enterprise solutions for our team, regardless of technology.  

  • Responsibilities include the creation of conceptual approach, technical analysis, design, development, unit testing, deploy and support activities
  • Evaluate options and provide recommendation on scope and scale of effort required to implement final requirements.
  • Works independently with minimal insight to develop software that conforms to Visa’s high standards of security, quality, performance, resiliency, and compliance. 
  • Collaborate with business partners on requirements elaboration, design, configuration, and business re-engineering.
  • Collaborate with product vendors and systems integrators on delivery of solutions. Work with delivery partners to review and finalize technical specifications, code review, and implementation related activities.
  • Should also be very proficient with creating and troubleshooting Bot development related tasks using Azure resources and Devops CI/CD.

This is an on-site position. An on-site position must be consistently performed at an assigned Visa office location and require daily commute to the office location. Currently, we are in Remote setup with Voluntary work from office option until further notice from the organization.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2-4 years proficiency in one of the programming language and technology .Net, C#, Python, .js
• 3+ years’ Experience working with REST API calls, JSON, and Systems integration
• 1-2 years’ experience and Knowledge in building conversational chat bot flows using MS Bot Framework
• 1-2 years’ Experience building custom web applications using different Azure resources (azure functions, logic apps, custom code)
• 1-2 years’ experience implementing Azure DevOps CI/CD (Backlog, Repo, Pipelines). Code management and migrating/merging on different branches for release etc.
• 1-2 years conversational AI/ML based chatbot experience using Azure Cognitive services

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years of Software Development Experience or a master’s with 3+ years of Software Development Experience
• Good understanding and technical expertise container-based technologies.
• Good understanding on SQL and NoSQL related databases.
• Technical development experience, with granular understanding of tools and frameworks to support conversational experiences such as Microsoft Bot Framework, and NLP services such as Microsoft LUIS.
• You have experience architecting solutions with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in mind
• While you’ll have the skill to see and understand the big picture, you’re able to stay focused on the task at hand to achieve immediate goals
• You’re great at systematic and accurate research wanting to uncover the smallest detail
