    PURPOSE

We have an exciting opportunity for an expert, passionate, and results-driven Paid Performance Marketing Manager. Working with the Global Head of Paid Performance Marketing, you will:

    • Help build a world-class digital customer acquisition engine to profitably scale our customer base in two of our core markets, the United Kingdom and Australia
    • Take full ownership of the UK + Australia online paid channel mix, budget, campaign execution, optimization, reporting and ROAS growth
    • Execute a rapid in-housing plan from our digital marketing agency to drive fast, profitable growth
    • Play a key part in aggressively scaling our high-growth e-commerce travel business to the next level

    Tasks

    RESPONSIBILITIES UK & Australia Paid Digital Media Strategy

    • Work with the Head of Paid Performance Marketing to develop the full-funnel paid marketing strategy across paid digital channels for these important markets
    • Focus on critical SEA scaling and optimization for increased ROAS, then re-expand into other paid channels
    • Drive flawless execution of all lead acquisition, lead nurturing and brand awareness campaigns to meet KPIs
    • Use multi-touch attribution to track touch-points across the funnel and maximize campaign effectiveness Continuous Test and Learn Approach
    • Identify and recommend new channels, trends, platforms, tools and systems to improve performance
    • Develop hypotheses and perform A/B testing to recommend optimizations
    • Analyze and scale what works – and have the confidence to cut what doesn’tForecasting & Budget Management
    • Work with the Head of Paid Performance Marketing to set acquisition, conversion, and funnel goals for UK + Australia via paid online channels
    • Continuously analyze/optimize digital marketing spend and recommend changes
    • Improve ROAS to efficiently scale new customers in each marketPerformance Management
    • Set and track growth metrics and quarterly OKRs (Objectives + Key Results) for your role
    • Detailed reporting and data analysis for maximum visibility into performance vs targets, efficiency, ROAS
    • Identify pain-points and pragmatically improve upon non-performing areasCollaboration
    • Earn stakeholder confidence quickly and exert positive influence
    • Form strong partnerships with the Country Heads, regional Product, Commercial, and Sales teams as well central as Finance, and Technology for a consistent Go-To-Market approach
    • Drive regular exchange of insights and learnings across the relevant teams

    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS

    • You are an outstanding Paid Performance Marketer with a minimum 4 years in global B2C online acquisition
    • You have proven success managing best-in-class performance marketing engine with budgets in excess of €2m
    • You are data-driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills – you think in terms of CLV, ROAS, impact on EBITDA
    • You have a deep understanding of the online user journey, conversion funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle and their respective impacts on the Marketing organization to drive demand and revenue
    • You are an expert in SEA with strong experience in display, retargeting, paid social, affiliates, online partners
    • You have demonstrable hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, and various retargeting and affiliate platforms
    • You are an super-user of website analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and customer experience testing tools
    • You are versatile communicator across diverse global stakeholders, including at the executive level
    • Degree/Diploma in Digital Marketing or related field is desirable
    • Fluent in English – additional fluency in German and/or Dutch are a plus
