Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated technologist with a passion for creating strategies, best practices, and solving complex architectural challenges in the Games industry.

As a Solutions Architect, you will and partner with a leading M&E company on their games strategy. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and should have a deep understanding of Game technologies including engines, platforms, and middleware providers alongside applicable technical use cases, architectures, and development workflow. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; defining implementation architectures, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how game applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

About the team
Strategic account customers are disruptors in their respective domains where time-to-market is key in achieving successful business outcomes. 1/Strategic Accounts are born in the cloud companies or early adopters in their cloud transformation journey. All of them form deep relationships with AWS. 2/Our customers operate at large scale and push the limits of our services and identify where and how they break. 3/We build new features based on feedback from this set of customers and we ensure that the innovations we develop serves the next wave of AWS adopters. 4/Strategic Accounts also are heavy users of Open-Source software (OSS)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in architecting and positioning solutions into the Games Industry, or building technology solutions within the Games industry.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure to support game servers, analytics and big data, and game live operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A passion for Gaming! Great understanding of how the Gaming industry operates and the unique characteristics and culture of the industry.
• Experience in game production, game live operations, solutions development, product management.
• Passion for cloud technologies deep understanding of public and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Highly technical and analytical. Demonstrated ability to understand the complexities of Game development processes across multiple platforms including mobile, PC, and Console
• Technical knowledge of Games industry applications, platforms, and data ecosystem, with ability to go deep on technical aspects to understand current and future customer needs and present AWS technical benefits.
• Deep knowledge of the AWS Services and their relevance to the Games industry
