Position Title: IT Application Analyst II
Location: Seattle, Washington
Develop and support custom functionality in support of various solutions with a variety of technologies including Oracle Applications built using PL/SQL, Java, Perl, or OBIEE. Design, develop and deliver high quality software solutions for customers to meet a wide variety of business needs. Operationalize, support, and maintain customer systems and interfaces. Collaborate with the development team to design and implement system modifications, and with the quality assurance team to ensure product testing before delivery. Coordinate work across diverse teams globally. Develop functional test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing, and guide business users in testing. Research, document, and resolve system issues, as well as troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting as needed. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team. Dive deep into functional accounting workflows and design solutions that improve the speed, scale, or automation of processes, upstream processes, and downstream systems. The role requires an experienced financial analyst with IT skills to design, build, and troubleshoot capabilities within ERP, as well as other technology platforms.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered, or as a Systems, Application, or Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer or Developer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): performing Oracle Application design, including Workflows, Forms and Report; using relational databases; using SQL; and understanding and utilizing finance and accounting systems and concepts, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report. Up to 25% international/domestic travel required for this role.
