In the era of multi clouds, we enable our partners to support our joint customers on their journey from traditional methods of running their business software environment, to modern and next generation software environment.

As the NEMEA Regional Networking & Security Partner Development Specialist you will be responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategy, plans and activities to recruit & enable partners, to sell and deliver offerings based on VMware’s Networking & Security portfolio inclusive of VMware’s SDN Data Centre & Cloud Networking Solution, Advanced Load Balancing, Network Security, & Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.

You are comfortable working in a matrix environment with ongoing interactions within an extended VMware PCO team. You will have experience with developing and implementing GTM strategies across our partner ecosystem including Solution, Services, GSI, Distributors and Global Partners to achieve our growth targets via our ecosystem.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • Within 30 days, you will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the networking and security offerings and get to know the entire VMware extended partner commercial team (PCO) and align with our Networking & Security Specialist sales team in NEMEA.
  • Within 60 days, you will be creating an operational framework to support our partners with their networking and security Practices. You will identify, recruit, and activate a group of focus partners with the capability & willingness to develop a Networking & Security practice with VMware.
  • You will be leveraging, regionalizing, and executing Partner GTM programs and initiatives to activate and accelerate focus partners in your region.
  • You will have met with partners and internal stakeholders and begun to identify approaches to accelerate their position with Networking & Security and VMware.
  • Within 90 days, you will be comfortable building out and executing on your partner enablement plans to provide partners with the skills required to develop a successful Networking & Security practice across the customer lifecycle. You will be driving, nurturing and supporting pipeline creation activities with partners.
  • From there you will have become a key member of the extended PCO and networking & security team and drive joint account planning & co-selling motions with partners and specialist teams.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • Work with the EMEA and WW Partner & Commercial Organization to develop a Partner strategy for Networking & Security within UK&, Benelux and the Nordics
  • Work with / Partner Business Managers and Networking & Security Business Unit and commercial sales teams to execute a strong GTM framework to accelerate Networking & Security business across NEMEA
  • Lead, execute and further enhance GTM initiatives targeted at key partners in NEMEA to drive business results
  • Influence partner marketing investments in support of the Networking & Security business and ensure Marketing provides regular reporting on program results
  • Your role will involve driving and tracking partner enablement and activation as well as coordinating the delivery of Sales and SE Training for all meaningful parties.

Where is this role located?

The role is positioned for candidates located in the UK&I, Germany with the expectation that you will be in the office three days a week.
