Job Description

The Customer Scale IT Program manager will be responsible for the management of one of Intel’s key pillars of digital transformation in partnership with Intel’s Sales and Marketing Group.

This role will be accountable for the portfolio of investments to improve customer experience for partners and developers, for amplifying the experience of our sellers, for developing insights through intelligent operations, while building out the foundation platforms. This role shall engage and partner tightly with business and guide cross-functional IT teams through value delivery program planning, execution, risk, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain program level governance of Customer Scale through the value delivery lifecycle.
  • Jointly facilitate the Customer Scale Steering committee and leadership synchs with business partners.
  • Reinforce culture and environment of continuous improvement – inventing new or adjusting processes to optimize operations while ensuring there is continuous risk assessment.
  • Provide leadership insights and strategic management – identifying trends and improvement opportunities across the Customer Scale portfolio.
  • Partner with CF PMO lead and the Customer Scale Steering Committee to ensure tools and standards are setup and being executed for managing the program.
  • Oversee the portfolio’s scope, risks, and value realization. Reports on progress to leadership team.
  • Strategic overview and reporting on all programs to senior management.
  • Works closely to provide direction to directors and program managers for consistent alignment.
  • Build solid relationships with stakeholders and key partners while thoroughly understanding their business processes.

Skills:

  • Must possess solid leadership and management skills.
  • Must possess solid communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders such as customers, sponsors, senior management, project managers, project team members, vendors, suppliers, and other program stakeholders.
  • Developing a program communications management plan to address the stakeholders needs and expectations and also to provide key information in a timely manner in the format designed by the requestor.
  • Must have an experience working as a program manager.
  • Must be solid in managing program’s scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurements, and integration aspects.
  • Must also be solid in establishing program governance and program financial management i.e, budget management.
  • Willing to work with the wide range of individuals involved in program management to help them successfully complete their work and also to integrate the components deliverables into the program’s end product, service and results with benefits.
  • Identification of stakeholders, getting an understanding of their needs and expectations, developing a stakeholder engagement strategy to support these stakeholders so that the stakeholder’s expectations can be aligned with the program objectives and ultimately improve the overall acceptance of the program objectives.
  • A self-starter with solid analytical and critical thinking skills to learn and apply with problem-solving skill
  • Matrix management – proven willingness to work in a matrix environment and lead cross-organizational.
  • Willing to build and manage effective customer relationships, influencing direction and plans in order to better meet customer needs.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or any other related field, OR equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience successfully managing complex programs with several cross-functional dependencies.
  • 10+ years of experience working in positions involving stakeholder management, project/program management with domain knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, including senior management, and the willingness to create concise summaries of plans, status, recommendations and risks along with path to resolution.

Intel’s Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$121,260.00-$193,880.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
