THE POSITION

The Enterprise IT Atlassian Manager is a technical hands-on management position that requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. You will oversee the management, administration, automation, and development within the Atlassian Cloud environment, specifically in JIRA and Confluence. You will deliver enterprise capabilities that improve overall availability and support and champion the standardization of administrative and engineering practices by emphasizing the use of disciplined processes, You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and key support initiatives.
You will assist in growing a team of Atlassian engineers and will be responsible for managing their daily activities. As a manager, your primary responsibility is to mentor, develop, and support individuals on your team to achieve their career goals, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel.
You will be adept in stakeholder management. Working with stakeholders at varying levels, you will influence the direction of the solution and set appropriate goals. You will closely partner with the delivery team to plan the steps to achieve goals, identify and resolve impediments, and deliver value.

- Accomplishes financial objectives by determining service level required; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

- Working experience in developing custom JIRA workflows for different issues types to assist in automating routine tasks.
- Working experience in developing metrics dashboards and advanced filters in Jira.
- Highly analytical and structured in problem solving.
- Effective in interacting with varying levels of personel, including executive staff members under high pressure situations.
- Welcomes opportunities to learn new subject matter areas, assess operational maturity, establish KPI’s and metrics and drive towards operational maturity.
- Adept in providing 24/7 support.
- Deep sense of urgency and ability to identify and achieve quick wins.
- Willingness to travel as necessary; domestic and international.
Preferred Qualifications:
- S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or other related business field.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in information technology preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior management experience in information technology with a broad range of experience in various technology areas preferred.
- Strong leadership experience focused on IT service delivery.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Must pass state level Sports-betting licensing.
