Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems is seeking a qualified leader for the position of a Computer Systems Analysis Manager 2 for our BSI Team within Mission and Product Assurance. This position is located at our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA.

This Business Systems Integration (BSI) manager will be responsible for leading a team that implements process improvements in support of functional area business objectives and IT projects to deploy and enhance software used by the Strategic Space Systems Division including but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Product Lifecycle Management. Ultimately, the team exists to ensure the efficiency of business processes as they relate to IT systems helping ensure successful program execution.

Job Description:

  • Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company’s system architecture standards.
  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Leads a team of project managers and improvement facilitators to develop and implement system and process changes across functional areas and program business units.
  • Develops budgets and cost estimates for process improvement projects and IT portfolio initiatives.
  • Plans work and distributes assignments based on team member capabilities and perceived business value.
  • Coordinates team member training and personal development activities.
  • Identifies strategic objectives and ensures process and system improvements are aligned to division level goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with five (5) years of experience in engineering, computer science, process improvement, or project management.
  • Experience leading people, project, or programs.
  • Experience using and/or querying Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP in support of programs or specific functional operations.
  • Experience troubleshooting software systems.
  • Experience in authoring/writing software technical specifications and/or requirements documentation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) and/or Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) Access clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret (TS) and/or Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) Access.
  • Experience in the technical administration of a Service Now ticketing and work management platform.
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint task lists and document libraries for project management.

Salary Range: $130,500 USD – $195,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
