What part will you play?

  • At our headquarters, you will be responsible for the sales regions of Nord America (Canada and USA) and will be the first point of contact for regional employees as well as for colleagues and management at headquarters and in the plants.
  • You will be responsible for achieving the sales targets in these sales regions.
  • This includes the independent development and implementation of a growth strategy with corresponding sales concepts and initiatives within the “SI EA 2026” strategy.
  • You support and monitor budget and forecast planning as well as controlling and continuously look for profitability improvements
  • You analyze the sales funnel via existing CRM tools and validate the region forecast in dialog with the regions with high data quality.
  • In doing so, you will be responsible for increasing market transparency and market share; project and customer specific pricing analysis and escalation to ensure competitiveness and aggressive market penetration.
  • You will work closely with product management to perform market and customer specific analysis, sales promotions and homologations, win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, gap analysis.
  • You will coordinate and occasionally conduct customer visits.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • You have a master’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable technical studies.
  • You have many years of professional experience in sales or sales-related, technical functions, including several years of experience from a national subsidiary in the sales region.
  • You have gained intercultural experience in the past.
  • You have very strong technical knowledge of electrical power distribution and/or power automation such as medium voltage and low voltage switchgear, protection and automation systems and solutions.
  • In addition, you are characterized by your commercial knowledge on the topics of planning, controlling and business models.
  • You are skilled in the use of presentation and moderation techniques.
  • IT: MS Office, MS Teams, Salesforce, Tableau, SAP.
  • You are business fluent in English, other languages are an advantage (especially German).
  • You are willing to travel to the sales regions for several weeks and can lead and moderate intercultural workshops due to your strong communication skills.
  • In addition, you distinguish yourself through your customer orientation, strategic thinking and assertiveness.
