We are recruiting a Senior Study Coordinator for Data Access who will play a key role in the NIHR BioResource in managing a rapidly expanding portfolio of data access requests from both the UK and across the world

To use the data the BioResource holds, researchers must submit their request for access, including details of their intended research, for approval by the Data Access Committee.
You are responsible for managing this process, from enquiry, through to submission, approval and eventual release of the data.
The role involves day-to-day coordination and administration, database management, liaising and collaborating with worldwide Research and Development departments, clinicians, researchers and senior managers.
Duties include:
Primary contact point for data access applicants
Establishing and developing key contacts
Manage activity on a portfolio of data access applications
Generate reports and present on the data access applications portfolio
Line management of the administration team
About you:
Ideally you will have – Experience in research studies and/or clinical trials
Experience of data management and report generation
Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills
Confidence and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and using databases
Experience of managing and reporting data

The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 30th November 2024 in the first instance. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle, and an extension of the employment will be dependent on available funding. It has been announced recently that NIHR BioResource will receive new funding over a 5 year period.
Our offices are on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, CB2 0QQ (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre). Some travel to other NIHR BioResource locations is required
