    About the role

    The Card Processing team is responsible for the core business of Checkout: processing card transactions, both for payins and payouts and anywhere in the world. Checkout operates as an acquirer in dozens of countries in the EEA, US, MENA and APAC, with the full processing stack built in house – and we’re expanding rapidly.

    As a Product Director, you will bring to the team structure and vision thanks to your broad knowledge of payments, owning every step of the product delivery lifecycle and impacting the whole merchants portfolio of Checkout.com.

    About you:

      • 5+ years or Product experience and 3+ years of experience leading product teams
      • 3+ years of experience in the Payments space, working with various partners like card schemes or Payment Service Providers
      • You think from the customer perspective, and are always vigilant of the desired experience
      • Data driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
      • Ability to build bridges across the organization with high EQ and influencing skills
      • Effective communicator: you can get others excited
      • Experience managing the full lifecycle of software products: Private Beta to Public Availability
      • Experience hiring, managing, and building high performing Product Management teams

    Key Responsibilities

      • You’ll lead a team of Product Managers and Engineers through all stages of the Product Life Cycle (Discovery, Delivery, Execution, Iteration)
      • You’ll teach and train your teams to become experts in Payments
      • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery
      • Perform competitor analysis to determine industry trends and differentiating factors
      • Work with partners around the business to get their buy-in and collaboration and to generate momentum for your products
      • Partner with design teams to bring the customer experience to life
      • Work with an agile mindset
      • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customer
