Job Description

We are looking for a curious, passionate, and proactive leader with good experience in handling B2B digital media operations to lead our media strategy and execution. This role will need you to partner with the integrated and field marketing leaders to devise and implement a standard media operating model for each region and business unit and support them in generating qualified leads and pipeline. 

Search, programmatic display, and paid social is foundational to how we reach, attract, engage and convert prospects and customers on digital media. So you need to have a working knowledge of different operators in the ad tech ecosystem and a reasonably good understanding of audience strategy, activation and campaign management across various digital media platforms to be successful in this role. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our ad tech stack and design a standard media planning, buying, and activation process in order to streamline the media operations and improve the ROAS. 

  • Build a culture of media operations excellence that enables sustained performance improvement and results across the channels. 

  • Understand the business priorities and translate this into the impactful process, people, and technology recommendations

  • Partner with subject matter experts from brand, product, integrated, field and customer marketing, creative ops, and marketing operation teams to design and deliver impact campaigns.

  • Own and maintain the cross-channel digital audience management practice that enables Freshworks’ paid media strategy (online video, connected TV, programmatic display, affiliate, and paid search) for global markets.

  • Oversee the measurement dashboard setup and capabilities; ensure campaigns are tagged and tracking accurately

  • Contribute to Freshworks’ AdTech and MarTech strategy through capabilities assessment and management 

  • Communicate regularly with the stakeholders about the overall campaign performance metrics by region and business units, take feedback and optimize the campaigns.

  • Foster strong relationship with key stakeholders, understand their business needs and wants, educate them on all initiatives by the team and align on the shared goals.

  • Mentor and guide direct reports in their career growth by helping them build development goals and creating new opportunities to challenge and keep them excited

  • Create and deliver on yearly team goals; mentor personal goal development of team

  • Own budgeting and expense management of ad tech platforms

  • Oversee agency audience engagement in paid media

  • Have a desire for continuously testing and learning

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Masters’ degree required in a business or technical field

  • Minimum 12-15years of experience in an advertising operations role – either at an agency or advertiser/client

  • Minimum of 5-7 years leading a team of direct reports

  • Experience in operating a full media tech stack (DMP, SSP, DSP – preferably DV360 or TTD, Ad Server)

  • Good understanding of the intersection of the marketing and ad tech stack, audience management & media measurement platforms such as  LiveRamp,  Ads Data Hub, and other cleanroom initiatives. 

  • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of an organization from global C-suite to practitioners in an organizational climate of frequent change 

  • Proven experience in navigating complex matrixed and global media organizations

  • The desire to work in a fast-paced, task-focused, team environment involving technical and non-technical individuals is essential

  • Comfortable working across multiple markets and timezones
