Our plans to expand into the Greater Bay Area (GBA) will also cultivate talent to serve Hong Kong and the wider metropolitan GBA.For more information about the University, please visit .Temporary Research Assistant I (R6647) (S&T) (Ref: 24001G7)We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology:Temporary Research Assistant I (R6647) (S&T) (Ref: 24001G7)Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe appointee will mainly assist the research team in a research project “An Investigation of Associations between Body-Worn Inertial Measurement Unit Sensors on Human Activities” (R6647). He / She will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Performing data analysis and numerical simulation;
• Assisting in report writing and presentation of the results;
• Providing effective research and teaching-related assistance; and
• Carrying out other research activities as instructed by the Investigators.

CandidatesCandidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• A Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline;
• A proven track record of research and publication in the respective fields; and
• Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in machine learning, software development, resource management, and time-series analysis.
