IVE Engineering has organized a number of high-quality professional development programmes for engineering practitioners in the areas of Construction, Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical and Building Services and Transportation Engineering. Please refer to / for details of the respective training programmes. In order to meet the increase in demand of our services, we are looking for high caliber professionals with relevant work experience to provide part-time teaching in the following specialisms:
Specialisms:
(I) Gas Engineering
– Gas Utilisation and System Design
– Gas Production System
(II) Plumbing Engineering
– Potable Water System and Drainage and Sewage System Design
– Fire Services Installation for Buildings
– Testing and Commissioning of Plumbing System, Water leakage Detection by Non-Destructive Tests and Repair
Major Duties:
(a) To conduct lectures and perform other teaching related activities or duties, such as preparing teaching materials, setting assignments and examination papers, and marking both assignments and examination scripts for the programmes in the above subject areas (teaching materials and lectures will be in either Chinese or English);
(b) To assist in maintaining the standard and quality of the training course; and
(c) To attend coordination meetings when necessary.
Requirements:
(a) A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience;
(c) Experience in curriculum and training material development and instructional design is preferred;
(d) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(e) For specialism (II) Plumbing Engineering:
– Holder of Plumber’s License is preferred.
